Background

David B. Kurland, MD, PhD, attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency training in Neurosurgery at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Kurland is a spinal neurosurgeon with an interest in complex spinal deformity and reconstruction, oncology, and motion-preserving techniques. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in basic science and translational research. His work integrates rigorous data science with clinical innovation to improve patient care and advance the field of spine surgery.
