This event is co-hosted with the Brown departments of EM, Trauma Surgery, Psychiatry, and the School of Public Health, as well as community groups in Providence (RI Coalition Against Gun Violence, Mentor RI, Moms Demand Action, Injury Prevention Center). Together we will be providing education and training on Stop the Bleed and hemorrhage control techniques, motivational interviewing and de-escalation, discussing gun safety, and handing out gun locks and other freebies!
