Complex Scalp Reconstruction

Condition

Head and neck deformities can occur for multiple reasons, including after accidents, infections, tumors, brain abnormalities, surgery or as a result of birth defects. There is no easy way to classify these abnormalities and each case is unique.

Treatment

Reconstruction is also highly specialized with multiple treatment options available, including reshaping of the skull, smoothing of deformities, placement of implants or movement of skin and muscle. The Neuroplastic Team was developed specifically for such complicated cases and specializes in the treatment of complex deformities of the face and skull.
